I had made it in life. It was all a cakewalk from here on out. I had done it. And now all I will find is eternal happiness and gratitude.
You need the courage to throw things away, otherwise you will just be leaving things in the room for the fear of losing something.
Sometimes, the larger purpose gets lost in the shuffle and I find myself wanting more money simply for the sake of wanting more.
I can simply look back in gratitude about the experiences that I’ve been a part of.
It is funny. Only when you lose something do you begin to realize the true value of its being.
I see this movement shedding greater light on the need for racial equality, especially in a country as diverse as the USA.
I don’t think the Cornell experience would’ve been as fulfilling - if I had just gone through those four years with absolute bliss.
They are simply human. With their own burdens and worries. The fact that they came to me signals some faith in our relationship.
So, what exactly is real and what exactly is fake? Where is this theoretical line of distinction?
And I felt that if I could just get over the hump, and regain my mojo when it comes to speaking in groups, I would be unstoppable.
Often in our lives, we aim for things that we don’t have. And we feel that once we achieve that milestone, we will be happy as a clam.
I couldn’t have planned a more ideal trip - to showcase the splendor that is France.
Often times, we scramble around searching for treasures elsewhere without uncovering the gems that we have within us all along.
Actions speak louder than words. And even though my words said that I was passionate about language, I never made a move in that direction.
The here and now is all we will ever need. And all we ever have. Tomorrow is a fantasy. And yesterday was a distant past.
It feels like we can just enjoy life for what it is. A simple existence that will have its share of ups and certainly its share of downs.
There are so many books to read these days. Everyone’s got their own perspective on life that they'd like to cram into our heads.
The critical ingredient of a good story is to have the villain win a few battles, before the hero triumphs at the end of the movie.
It’s important that we don’t get trapped in the mold of constant goal setting. Of hoping for something better to happen down the road.
